About the Role
As a Field Marketing Specialist reporting to the Manager of Field Marketing, you will activate local marketing strategies and community engagement initiatives in your region. This role involves close collaboration with the Field Marketing Manager to develop meaningful relationships within local communities, campuses, and cultural venues to better understand market trends and consumer interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Consumer Collecting and Field Marketing Managers to set objectives focused on product trials and engaging new audiences both on and off campus.
- Provide clear direction, resources, and support to Student Marketeers, helping them plan and deliver impactful activities during key moments.
- Work with sales teams and retail partners to boost product distribution, visibility, and retail relationships around university areas.
- Collaborate with Student Marketeers to create innovative campus programs that foster genuine student connections.
- Use available data and feedback to assess program success, identify growth areas, and ensure outreach reaches targeted student communities.
- Coach and encourage team members to generate new ideas that broaden consumer engagement and keep programs dynamic.
- Manage internal and external sampling requests, aligning them with team priorities and community needs.
- Help foster positive consumer experiences by providing accurate information and building trust through authentic engagement.
- Recruit and select Student Marketeers with diverse backgrounds and skills, supporting a positive onboarding and training process.
- Mentor and coach Student Marketeers to build ownership, encourage professional development, and achieve team and individual goals.
- Develop leadership programs for Student Marketeers to grow skills and prepare for future roles.
- Plan and execute events, community activations, and marketing initiatives that resonate with local audiences, including partnerships in sports and cultural sectors.
- Build relationships with students, creators, community leaders, and influencers to enrich local brand presence and gain valuable insights.
- Adapt national and global campaigns to connect meaningfully with local audiences and enhance participation.
- Leverage diverse engagement and sampling methods to connect with consumers beyond traditional activation channels.
- Collaborate with teams to innovate marketing programs by sourcing local trends, digital opportunities, and student interests.
- Coordinate idea-generation sessions with Student Marketeers to continuously evolve relevant programs.
- Utilize consumer insights and community feedback to discover new audience opportunities and improve experiences.
- Embody professionalism, inclusiveness, and teamwork to represent the brand positively in all interactions.
- Manage program logistics, resources, and inventory to ensure smooth operational execution.
- Maintain program materials and vehicles in good condition ready for use.
- Exhibit flexibility and sound judgment in resource allocation and adapting plans to changing priorities.
- Support continuous process improvements and organizational efficiency within the marketing team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing roles.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
- Strategic thinker with proactive ownership and the ability to implement ideas effectively.
- Strong networker and communicator capable of engaging stakeholders and inspiring enthusiasm.
- Detail-oriented with a positive "can-do" attitude pushing for excellence.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Fluency in English is a must; additional languages are beneficial.
- Excellent presentation and training communication skills.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
Additional Information
This position is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or individuals authorized to work in the U.S. on a valid visa. Salary ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 annually plus cash incentives, with actual compensation based on experience.
