Position Summary
The role of Senior Brand Marketing Associate for the Grab & Go / Desserts business entails developing strategic business and marketing plans to drive portfolio growth and annual targets. Key brand portfolios include Hot Pockets, Stouffer’s, DiGiorno, Lean Cuisine, Tombstone, Nestlé Toll House, and Libby’s. This position requires leading portfolio management including renovation and innovation, and working cross-functionally to execute category and channel strategies while managing marketing plans and sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of consumer and operator profiles, including demographics, behaviors, and purchase pathways using data and research to identify opportunities.
- Translate trends and insights into innovative marketing communications and go-to-market strategies.
- Design B2B business and marketing strategies for the Grab & Go/Desserts portfolio, incorporating cross-functional insights and sales data.
- Lead management of brand portfolios including P&L oversight and asset development for key brands.
- Collaborate with Marketing Innovation Leads and cross-functional teams on bakery and handheld platform development aligned with business goals.
- Mobilize and coordinate cross-functional teams involving marketing, product development, R&D, sales, finance, and supply chain to execute innovation and renovation plans.
- Manage relationships with external agencies for marketing strategy, demand generation, and execution.
- Partner with retail brand teams on product launches and relevance in out-of-home channels.
- Develop and administer marketing budgets ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable ROI.
- Work with distributor marketing teams to analyze data, develop strategies, and execute tactical marketing plans.
- Evaluate e-commerce opportunities and align with digital teams for implementation.
- Support innovation and renovation pipelines by leveraging consumer, shopper, and market analysis and lead relevant projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- Proven ability in budget oversight, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Strong skills in strategic research, analysis, problem-solving, and decision making.
- Entrepreneurial mindset characterized by self-starting initiative, resourcefulness, and action orientation.
- Basic financial knowledge, including risk/return calculations related to business decisions.
- Excellent prioritization abilities to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective presentation skills suitable for internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with syndicated data sources (e.g., IRI/Circana) preferred.
Experience Required
- Minimum of five years in marketing, brand, or product management, managing product or strategy lifecycles from conception through execution.
- Demonstrated leadership driving cross-functional teams and external agencies towards brand and business objectives.
- Experience with profit and loss management and strategic business planning.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is approximately between $115,000 and $145,000 annually, subject to candidate qualifications and geographic location. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives, a competitive benefits package including 401k with company match, healthcare coverage, and other employee benefits.
