Role Overview
This position is focused on creating a memorable dining experience for guests, rather than simply serving food and drinks. The service expert helps turn each meal into a smooth, welcoming, and distinctive experience through attentive guest interaction and efficient table service.
Key Duties
The role includes preparing tables, coordinating with the kitchen, serving guests, interacting professionally during the dining experience, and keeping service areas and supplies clean and organized. The aim is to make every step of the transaction feel like part of the overall guest experience.
Work Standards and Physical Requirements
Success in this role requires a strong commitment to workplace safety, company policies, procedure compliance, quality standards, and professional conduct in appearance and communication. The job involves extended periods of standing, sitting, and walking, including movement across slopes, uneven surfaces, or slippery areas. It also requires reading and checking menu information carefully and handling physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, placing, reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, stooping, and moving items up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED-equivalent education is preferred. Prior related work experience of less than 1 year is expected. No supervisory background is required, and no license or certification is needed.
