Fast-food service attendant

Overview

This is a permanent, full-time role at a quick-service restaurant in Whitecourt, Alberta. The position is conducted in English, with scheduled hours ranging from 8 to 28 per week. No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required, and training will be provided.

What you will do

• Clean and disinfect dishwashing mats, carts, and waste containers.
• Reset dining areas by clearing and wiping tables, trays, and chairs.
• Load bus tubs and trays.
• Run dishwashing equipment for dishes, glassware, and cutlery.
• Store clean dishes in the designated area.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and other items by hand when needed.
• Track the amount of food used.
• Prepare takeout orders for packing.
• Portion food and wrap menu items.
• Heat, finish, and assemble simple food items.
• Serve guests at counters or buffet stations.
• Restock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Record customer orders accurately.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
• Receive deliveries and put supplies away in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage locations.
• Dispose of kitchen garbage and waste.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
