Job description
Overview
This is a permanent, full-time role at a quick-service restaurant in Whitecourt, Alberta. The position is conducted in English, with scheduled hours ranging from 8 to 28 per week. No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required, and training will be provided.
What you will do
- Clean and disinfect dishwashing mats, carts, and waste containers.
- Reset dining areas by clearing and wiping tables, trays, and chairs.
- Load bus tubs and trays.
- Run dishwashing equipment for dishes, glassware, and cutlery.
- Store clean dishes in the designated area.
- Wash and sanitize dishes and other items by hand when needed.
- Track the amount of food used.
- Prepare takeout orders for packing.
- Portion food and wrap menu items.
- Heat, finish, and assemble simple food items.
- Serve guests at counters or buffet stations.
- Restock refrigerators and salad bars.
- Record customer orders accurately.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
- Receive deliveries and put supplies away in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage locations.
- Dispose of kitchen garbage and waste.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
