Role Overview

Join MPA's Financial Accounting team to ensure precise and timely financial transaction reporting while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal teams. This role reports to the Senior Manager/Manager of Financial Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance daily Accounts Payable (AP) operations by identifying and applying process enhancements.
• Oversee month-end closing tasks including accrual postings, balance sheet upkeep, and bank reconciliations to guarantee accuracy and promptness, while exploring efficiency improvements.
• Lead finance projects aimed at automation and continuous enhancements, embracing technologies like robotic process automation (RPA) to streamline payment processes.
• Create detailed financial reports and visualizations using tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, government regulations, and internal controls.
• Respond to audit inquiries from internal and external parties ensuring transparency and compliance.
• Maintain strong vendor and internal stakeholder relationships through collaboration and communication.
• Coordinate with various finance functions including Procurement, Financial Planning, General Ledger, and Accounts Receivable for integrated AP processes supporting strategic objectives.
• Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders on AP systems, processes, and best practices.
• Provide assistance on special projects and financial analyses as directed by management.

Candidate Profile

• Experience or knowledge relevant to accounting, finance automation, and data analytics.
• New graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems; familiarity with Workday Financials is advantageous.
• Strong data analytics capabilities with the ability to analyze financial data and generate meaningful insights.
• Excellent detail orientation and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

• Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
