Role overview

A private equity and change management consulting firm is looking for an Executive Assistant to support its leadership team in New York City. This is a demanding, fast-paced setting where the role serves as a polished first point of contact for clients and visitors. The position also plays an important part in reinforcing the office culture by helping maintain a work environment that reflects high standards, strong collaboration, trust, warmth, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

What you will do

  • Keep the calendars of several senior leaders organized across rapidly changing priorities.
  • Arrange complex travel plans, including schedules, flights, accommodations, local transportation, and visa coordination.
  • Prepare materials and conduct research ahead of meetings.
  • Work with the finance team to create invoices.
  • Review and submit expense reports while ensuring partners receive proper reimbursements.
  • Maintain and update CRM records and related data entries.
  • Support day-to-day NYC office operations, including supplies, repairs, and general office upkeep.

What we are looking for

  • A bachelor's degree from a strong US college or university.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting executives in an assistant capacity.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • An operational mindset with the ability to improve systems and processes.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, as well as CRM software.
  • A refined, professional, and confident presence.
  • The ability to understand both direct instructions and more subtle messaging.
  • Flexibility to support different principals and balance competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a track record of catching mistakes.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and project coordination skills.
  • A proactive, practical, and solution-focused approach.
  • Composure and steadiness when working under pressure.

Work schedule and location

This is an on-site role in New York City with occasional flexibility to work remotely. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Compensation and benefits

The role pays $125,000 per year plus a 15% performance-based bonus. Benefits include medical insurance and a 401(k) plan.
