Job description

Role overview

JPMorgan Chase is hiring an Events Management Analyst to join the Corporate Meetings & Events team within its firmwide events organization. This group designs and delivers high-quality events and programs for internal and external audiences, working across business lines from the initial concept stage through post-event completion.

In this position, you will partner with a wide network of stakeholders across the firm to help plan and coordinate a range of high-touch events. The role will focus on executive-level engagement, including support for the Office of the Chairman and Commercial & Investment Bank leadership, with a particular emphasis on events hosted at the company’s new headquarters. You will also help coordinate selected executive visits across the United States.

Key duties

  • Work with multiple teammates on different programs and tasks to help deliver event projects successfully.
  • Assist with event planning and execution activities such as venue research, data upkeep and validation, internal and external communications, invitation creation/testing/distribution, staffing support, and post-event follow-up.
  • Prepare and refine client-facing communications, including invitations, follow-up messages, thank-you notes, and updates for senior stakeholders and priority clients.
  • Handle attendee administration, including reviewing and reconciling registration and RSVP reports, seating arrangements, event supplies, shipping, promotional item sourcing and ordering, and production of printed materials such as name badges and tent cards.
  • Support the planning and logistics for market visits, including scheduling, briefing materials, and post-visit follow-up.
  • Coordinate with the reporting team to share senior engagement reports and deliver timely, accurate insights to business leaders.
  • Keep client interaction and engagement records current in the relevant systems and databases.
  • Take on additional projects and initiatives as needed to support the team’s goal of delivering excellent client experiences.

Required experience and capabilities

  • At least 1 year of experience in meeting planning.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team, manage multiple priorities, and stay effective under pressure.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Comfort managing many tasks at once, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a positive, success-oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to work occasional late nights and travel when needed.
