About the Role
Join a pioneering foundational AI laboratory as an integral part-time Equity Research Analyst, where your expertise will directly shape the training and performance of next-generation language models. This unique project requires you to leverage your industry knowledge to create, assess, and improve AI-generated presentations and slides used in the equity research field, including initiation reports, earnings previews and reviews, industry primers, investment thesis documents, valuation summaries, and marketing materials for investor engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, refine, and develop professional slide decks and presentations tailored to core equity research processes.
- Apply your sector-specific knowledge to ensure accuracy and sophistication in AI-generated outputs.
- Assist in creating templates and exemplary slide assets for research functions such as initiation reports, earnings reviews, industry primer decks, thesis one-pagers, valuation summaries, and investor-facing marketing decks.
- Collaborate with the AI team to provide constructive feedback that enhances model performance in financial communication tasks.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of three years' experience in equity research at either a prominent sell-side institution or a respected independent research firm.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry analysis, valuation modeling, and the clear communication of investment theses.
- Demonstrated mastery of PowerPoint and the ability to design sophisticated, visually compelling slides for professional use.
- Exceptional written communication and a meticulous approach to detail.
Compensation & Commitment
- Hourly pay: $100, with the possibility to earn up to $2,000 per week depending on commitment.
- Flexible workload, ranging between 5 and 20 hours (or more) weekly, as fits your availability.
