Job description
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to contribute institutional financial expertise to the advancement of large language models. As a Financial Analyst specializing in LLM evaluation at CapitexAI, you will use your deep knowledge of financial processes to design and critique high-level financial reasoning tasks, directly influencing how language models understand and process finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct advanced, domain-rich financial scenarios and solve them through comprehensive, written analyses incorporating real-world methods like valuation, modeling, and professional judgment.
- Systematically assess LLM-generated responses using well-defined rubrics, and articulate written feedback focused on accuracy, logical rigor, and analytical integrity.
- Participate in the development and refinement of scoring systems tailored to distinct financial sectors such as asset management, investment banking, or corporate finance.
- Collaborate with fellow subject matter experts to maintain consistency and high standards in assessment and training data quality.
- Advise engineering and research teams to bridge knowledge gaps by representing authentic financial reasoning processes.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in institutional finance roles at a leading firm, such as investment banking, corporate finance, financial advisory, or asset management.
- Clear track record of promotion through various seniority levels (e.g., from Analyst to VP or Director).
- Direct prior experience in evaluating LLM or automation model performance using explicit rubrics or standardized criteria (must be described if applying).
- Ability to deliver structured, written financial analyses suitable for assessment contexts (not just presentation or verbal skills).
- Availability to commit at least 35 hours weekly during ordinary business hours.
Additional Strengths
- Knowledge of data annotation practices, evaluation methodologies, or quality assurance procedures in technical or research environments.
- Familiarity with a variety of finance areas (such as both M&A and FP&A, or public markets alongside credit), enhancing rubric robustness.
Application Process
- Submit your application via the main application channel.
- Every submission will be individually assessed for suitability.
- Candidates short-listed for the next stage will receive further instructions by email.
- Carefully follow the emailed directions to proceed with the application process.
Additional Information
- Compensation ranges from $65–$90 per hour, based on qualifications and expertise.
- Position is fully remote with a minimum expected workload of 35 hours per week.
