About the Role

This part-time position offers recent graduates and early-career professionals an opportunity to build a solid foundation in the world of investment banking and finance. Participants in this graduate program will work on projects that tackle key aspects of corporate finance, financial markets, strategic advisory, and capital raising. The role is designed to cultivate strong analytical capabilities, technical proficiency, and real-world exposure through structured learning modules and collaborations with experienced finance professionals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out comprehensive financial and industry research to inform business decisions.
  • Develop, update, and analyze financial models and valuation assessments.
  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials for internal and client use.
  • Review and interpret financial statements and performance metrics to support various initiatives.
  • Assist in transaction support—including due diligence, documentation, and data validation—for mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and corporate advisory work.
  • Track and report on market trends and economic sector developments.
  • Prepare dashboards, analytical reports, and business summaries for stakeholders across the company.
  • Work alongside teams in finance, investment, legal, and strategy to advance business goals.
  • Ensure precise financial documentation and adherence to compliance guidelines.
  • Engage in budget planning, business reviews, and process streamlining using data-driven approaches.
  • Share research conclusions and actionable analytics clearly to various audiences.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes, new investment products, and financial market shifts.

Candidate Profile & Required Qualifications

  • Completed or in the final stages of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or related area.
  • Well-versed in financial statements, corporate finance, accounting, and investment principles.
  • Ability to build and interpret financial models; experience in common valuation methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial analysis software is ideal.
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative aptitude, with sharp problem-solving skills.
  • Clear, effective communication abilities, both in writing and verbal presentations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and discipline when handling multiple assignments.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all analyses and reporting.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Commercial awareness and an avid interest in global financial markets and investment banking trends.
  • Understanding of business intelligence tools, financial databases, or capital-market transactions is an advantage.
  • Integrity and commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct at every turn.
