About Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc.
CBS Inc. is a South Australian not-for-profit organization celebrating 25 years of supporting people with disabilities and medical conditions through employment and social services. In 2026, CBS will mark 30 years of service, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to inclusive employment and community support.
Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Employment Officer based in Kadina to support people living with disabilities and/or medical conditions to gain open employment through the Jobnet Employment Program, funded by Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA). This permanent position operates Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Key Duties
- Managing diverse client caseloads and assisting clients towards achieving employment goals.
- Identifying and developing employment opportunities by networking with local employers, service providers, and stakeholders.
- Guiding clients through work trials, experience placements, and paid employment pathways.
- Maintaining accurate client documentation and contributing to service improvement activities.
- Offering post-placement and ongoing support to ensure client job retention.
- Achieving and exceeding KPIs and placement targets as per IEA guidelines.
- Upholding the organizational values and culture of CBS Inc.
Candidate Profile
- Passionate about supporting people with disabilities and disadvantages.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven workplace.
- Strong ability to engage and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
- Valid Australian driver's licence (minimum P2).
- Willingness to travel with clients as needed.
- Either current or willingness to acquire NDIS/DHS checks and clearances relevant to the role.
