Role overview
This position is with Asuria Training, a provider of employment services in Australia focused on helping people find sustainable work. The job is based onsite in St Marys, with reference to Oxley Park, New South Wales. The role suits someone who takes a proactive, customer-focused approach and wants to support others to achieve meaningful employment outcomes.
What the role involves
You will support participants in reaching long-term employment through tailored coaching, placement assistance, and continued follow-up support. A key part of the job is building relationships with local employers, identifying suitable opportunities, and matching them with the needs and goals of participants.
Key duties
- Deliver personalised coaching and guidance to participants, along with job placement support and ongoing assistance.
- Source employment opportunities with local employers that fit participant goals and requirements.
- Assess each client’s individual employment needs and circumstances.
- Work with employers to connect available talent with suitable job opportunities.
Candidate profile
The company is looking for someone with strong customer service instincts, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment. Experience in employment services is a major advantage, and backgrounds in customer service, sales, contact centres, or recruitment will also be highly useful. You should be organised, comfortable with administration, and able to use IT systems confidently. Experience working with Indigenous communities is also valued.
Mandatory requirements
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check must be in place before starting. Successful applicants also need to create a myGovID so they can access government data relevant to the role.
