Role overview
Asuria Training is seeking an Employment Consultant to support participants in reaching sustainable work outcomes. This position is based in Richmond, close to home, and is suited to someone who brings a positive, proactive mindset and strong client service ability.

What you will be doing
- Deliver one-on-one guidance, coaching, job placement support and ongoing follow-up to participants.
- Build relationships with local employers and uncover vacancies that match participant goals and needs.
- Assess each client’s individual employment barriers, aspirations and support requirements.
- Work with employers to connect suitable talent with the right opportunities.
Experience and capabilities sought
- Prior experience in Employment Services is highly desirable.
- Background in customer service, sales, contact centres or recruitment will be advantageous.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and adaptability are essential.
- Good attention to detail, administrative capability and confidence using IT systems are important.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities is valued.
Mandatory checks and access requirements
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are required before employment begins. Successful applicants must also create a myGovID so they can access government data relevant to the role.
