Role overview
This is a great full-time opportunity for an Employment Consultant to join the Wellington team and support clients in the Wellington region.

Key responsibilities
- Meet clients referred by Work and Income and help guide them toward work-first employment pathways that support financial independence.
- Build strong relationships with local employers, businesses, government and industry partners, disability support services, and other providers to uncover suitable job opportunities.
- Spend time understanding each jobseeker’s background, goals, experience, and strengths so you can support them effectively and build trust.
- Identify training needs and work with training providers to help jobseekers gain short-course certification and strengthen their employability.
