About the Role
Our client, a leading healthcare provider based just two hours from Melbourne, is looking to hire multiple Emergency Medicine Registrars for their main campus in Shepparton. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity suitable for accredited trainees through the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM), with a strong focus on both clinical practice and academic work. The hospital maintains partnerships with metropolitan tertiary hospitals and the University of Melbourne Medical School, providing excellent avenues for teaching and research.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver emergency medical care in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Supervise and provide clinical support to junior doctors and medical students.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education, training, and professional development sessions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
- Engage in quality improvement and clinical governance activities as required.
Requirements
- General registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current or eligible for emergency medicine registrar-level appointment.
