About the Role
Salesforce is hiring an EMEA Payroll Analyst to support its established payroll function in Dublin. The role sits within the Finance category and focuses on running payroll operations for the EMEA region while partnering with internal teams and external providers on ongoing improvements and cross-functional work.
The position is suited to someone with at least 3 years of payroll experience, ideally handling high-volume payrolls of 1,000+ employees. The work involves careful compliance management, reporting, issue resolution, and collaboration across compensation, benefits, accounting, and broader business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll processing from start to finish for EMEA employees through external payroll providers, including pay calculations, deductions, bonuses, and overtime.
- Complete monthly and yearly tax submissions, social security payments, and other mandatory statutory filings.
- Carry out payroll SOX controls each month with a high degree of accuracy.
- Keep payroll records, employee details, and tax information current, ensuring updates are reflected quickly in the payroll system.
- Build payroll reports as needed, help the accounting team with payroll-related questions, and support both internal and external payroll audits.
- Respond to employee payroll questions, investigate discrepancies, and explain salary and deduction details clearly.
- Look for opportunities to improve processes, strengthen systems, and introduce automation to make payroll work more efficient.
- Work closely with teams across the business to stay aligned on compensation, benefits, and financial reporting.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing, with a solid understanding of payroll compliance.
- Hands-on experience using payroll platforms such as SAP, ADP, or similar tools, along with Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting.
- Strong precision and attention to detail when handling payroll calculations and compliance tasks.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability to resolve payroll issues and improve processes.
- Strong communication and people skills, including the ability to explain payroll topics to colleagues outside payroll.
- Fluency in English.
