It is a good fit for someone wanting to deepen their sales capability while working closely with experienced sales leaders and support teams.

What the role involves

  • Drive monthly and quarterly revenue goals by selling Salesforce solutions across assigned ECS accounts within a defined market segment or customer subset.
  • Own the full sales cycle and deliver against key performance measures, with particular emphasis on winning new business while growing existing accounts.
  • Research territories and verticals to shape market plans and build a qualified target-account list.
  • Develop pipeline through cold outreach, email outreach, and use of market and sector intelligence.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to support strong performance in the assigned segment.
  • Engage prospects with value-based selling, business case development, ROI analysis, references, and analyst insights.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end deal process by working with sales engineers, professional services, executives, partners, and other supporting teams as needed.
  • Balance near-term sales delivery with a longer-term view to maximize revenue growth.
  • Keep customer and pipeline information current in Salesforce’s systems on a daily basis.
  • Produce accurate monthly forecasts and revenue updates.

What the company is looking for

  • Strong background in selling enterprise software, preferably gained at a major software provider.
  • Proven success in landing direct new business and consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Clear evidence of exceeding quota or revenue expectations.
  • Ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Experience selling CRM applications or working in a specific industry vertical would be an advantage.
  • Stable work history with previous employers.

Location

The role is based in one of the following locations: Sydney, Wellington, or Auckland. The listed location for this opening is Auckland, New Zealand.

Benefits

  • Health, life, trauma, and income insurance coverage.
  • Monthly wellness allowance.
  • Support for IVF, adoption, and fertility preservation.
  • Flexible time off and leave arrangements.
  • Parental benefits.
  • 7 paid volunteer days each year.
  • Donation matching for approved charitable contributions.
