Role overview
This position sits at the centre of investment thinking, portfolio analysis, and client outcomes within a fast-moving investment consultancy. What you will do
- Prepare for and contribute to client meetings and investment committee sessions, bringing analysis and informed commentary to the discussion.
- Maintain and grow relationships with assigned clients, serving as a trusted contact for investment-related questions and support.
- Create client-facing materials such as presentations, reports, request-for-proposal responses, and portfolio updates.
- Assist with portfolio implementation, review performance, and help ensure mandates remain aligned with investment strategy and compliance requirements.
- Research fund managers and asset classes, stay current on market developments, and contribute to manager selection work.
- Partner with internal sales and portfolio management teams to support client solutions and wider business development efforts.
What we are looking for
- Approximately 5 to 10 years of experience in consulting, investment research, financial planning, or funds management.
- Strong interest in financial markets and working knowledge of asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment structures.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to handle several priorities at once.
- A finance-related degree is required, and professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CAIA are advantageous.
