Role overview
FE fundinfo is seeking a Finance Executive for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Frankfurt am Main. The position sits within a global fintech environment and focuses on running accurate, efficient finance operations while working closely with colleagues across functions and regions.
This opportunity offers end-to-end ownership of transactional finance tasks, along with exposure to reporting and process improvement. From the start, you will be trusted with hands-on responsibility in areas such as billing, credit control, and accounts payable, while contributing to the wider finance team in a collaborative, fast-moving setting.
Key responsibilities
- Run the billing process end to end, including invoice preparation and dispatch, upkeep of records, and resolution of billing-related queries.
- Track debtor balances, follow up on overdue amounts, and handle credit control communication.
- Process supplier invoices, carry out payment runs, and complete vendor and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly reporting tasks, including reconciliations, ledger entries, and data review.
- Prepare management reporting and support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Work with internal teams, auditors, and external advisors to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
Required experience and skills
- Background in finance operations, accounts payable, or a related transactional finance role.
- Working knowledge of billing, credit control, and/or accounts payable processes.
- Confident use of Excel and MS Office; experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong numerical ability, analytical thinking, and a careful eye for accuracy.
- Organised, proactive working style with effective communication skills for international collaboration.
