Pinterest is a platform where millions globally come to find inspiration, envision new possibilities, and plan memorable experiences. We aim to empower everyone to create a life they love, driven by a passionate team behind the product. We encourage innovation, growth, and embracing diverse experiences while offering flexibility to excel at work.

At Pinterest, Artificial Intelligence is integral, amplifying creativity and impact. We seek candidates eager to collaborate with AI, explaining their methodologies and thought processes transparently during our interview stages.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Email & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to develop and expand email and push notification initiatives targeted at our business audiences. This role involves collaborating with multiple departments such as Marketing, Creative, Sales, Product, and IT to design data-driven campaigns that enhance advertiser visibility, engagement, and revenue. It suits someone who enjoys strategic planning, execution, and analytics while shaping scalable email programs with significant business effects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement email and push messaging initiatives aimed at Pinterest's business audience to boost advertiser awareness, involvement, and revenue growth, managing the process from brief creation to launch and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Email Marketing Manager and Mid-Market Marketing Director to craft email strategies aligning with overall business objectives, supporting market launch efforts and delivering a unified advertiser experience.
  • Lead structured testing and optimization efforts, experimenting with audience segmentation, messaging approaches, design elements, frequency, and more, analyzing results to enhance program effectiveness continually.
  • Provide operational expertise for email marketing platforms, particularly maintaining Salesforce Account Engagement.
  • Leverage AI to refine existing email workflows and innovate new processes, including developing templates, formalizing testing frameworks, streamlining launch procedures, and seeking automation possibilities to improve scalability.
  • Ensure superior quality, legal compliance, and customer satisfaction across all communications, upholding list integrity, adherence to deliverability practices, data privacy regulations, and consistent brand messaging.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in email, CRM, or lifecycle marketing, preferably within a B2B context, with added value for those familiar with supporting advertiser, sales-driven, or mid-market segments.
  • Proficient in marketing automation tools, ideally Salesforce Account Engagement, with capabilities in campaign creation, deployment, reporting, data maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong operational skills managing campaign setup, quality assurance, scheduling, stakeholder communication, and deployment.
  • Skilled in audience segmentation, targeting, and personalized messaging tailored to lifecycle stages, engagement behaviors, and business needs.
  • Experienced in designing and analyzing A/B tests, generating performance reports, extracting insights, and driving actionable improvements.
  • Collaborated effectively with creative teams to develop email content that ensures clarity, user-focused design, and brand consistency.
  • Highly capable in cross-functional cooperation involving Marketing, Sales, Product, and IT units.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage comprehensive campaign workflows in a dynamic setting.
  • Demonstrated use of AI to optimize workflows such as intake, launch, ideation, analysis, and reporting, while maintaining critical oversight and quality control.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience required.

Additional Details

  • This role does not offer relocation support. The position allows working from anywhere in the United States with the need for in-person collaboration once or twice every six months.
  • We foster an equitable, inclusive, and inspiring workplace valuing transparency; a base salary range for this role is $81,921 to $168,660 USD, with eligibility for equity participation.
  • Our equal opportunity employment policy ensures all qualified candidates receive fair consideration regardless of background or personal characteristics.
