Role Overview

ADNOC Schools is looking for high-performing Elementary Classroom Teachers for an August 2026 start. This opening is for the ADNOC School Madinat Zayed Campus in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.

ADNOC Schools follows the Massachusetts State Curriculum and operates in modern, well-equipped campuses across Abu Dhabi City and the Western Region of Abu Dhabi Emirate. The curriculum is closely connected to leading higher education institutions such as Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Students graduate with an American High School Diploma, which serves as the standard admission qualification for universities in the United States.

This opportunity is part of ADNOC Schools, operated by Aldar Education, and is intended for educators who align strongly with the school’s values and understand the culture and expectations of the region.

Key Responsibilities

The teacher will be expected to create a strong learning environment, plan purposeful lessons, and support students in reaching high standards. The role includes adapting teaching to different learning needs, using assessment and performance data to guide planning, and maintaining a disciplined classroom culture in line with the school’s behaviour policy. The position also involves regular marking, student progress tracking, parent communication, curriculum development, ongoing professional learning, and participation in school activities and additional duties assigned by school leadership.

Requirements

Candidates must be fully qualified teachers. The school is seeking passionate, caring educators who hold a Bachelor of Education or a Bachelor’s degree in a related subject along with PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in the relevant field is required.

Applicants should have experience with the American curriculum, show commitment to enrichment activities, and have recent and regular involvement in extracurricular programs. The role also calls for respect toward all members of the school community, experience teaching students for whom English is an additional language, and a positive, solution-oriented approach. A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services record or police clearance is required.

Additional Information

Successful candidates will receive an attractive compensation package. The school places strong emphasis on professional development, coaching, and training, and offers access to a broad professional network with opportunities to contribute to training others as well as continue developing professionally.

Applicants are expected to submit a cover letter and CV that includes details of two referees. ADNOC Schools is committed to safeguarding children and young people, and any appointment will depend on relevant medical checks and clearance from the appropriate safeguarding authorities.

Application Materials

Interested candidates should submit a one-page A4 letter of interest and their most recent resume/CV.
