Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Nurses with a background in Western Europe, USA, South Africa, or Australia who possess strong fluency in both written and spoken English to provide comprehensive nursing care in Dublin, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver diverse and high-quality professional nursing care following the Nursing Process with a focus on direct patient care.
- Work under supervision and guidance of the Head Nurse and/or Duty Manager to provide patient-centered nursing services.
- Operate on various shifts as required, serving in general and critical care units, operating rooms, labor and delivery, emergency departments, and clinics.
- Perform patient care tasks and related activities, including initial and ongoing physical and psychosocial assessments tailored to the patient's age.
- Evaluate educational needs of patients and families, facilitating learning through appropriate resources.
- Assess and prepare discharge plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Develop and adjust care plans aligned with medical diagnoses and patient-specific requirements, setting achievable and culturally sensitive goals.
- Organize and coordinate patient care tasks daily while adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Identify when to seek additional resources beyond one's expertise to meet patient care needs.
- Contribute to the review and development of patient care standards, policies, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Commit to ongoing professional growth and stay updated in nursing practices specific to the area of work.
- Utilize computer technologies as needed for documentation and care planning.
- Maintain strict infection control standards and safety awareness, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Participate actively in fire and disaster drills as well as emergency mock codes.
- Exhibit empathy, acceptance, and compassion towards patients and their families throughout care delivery.

This role requires flexibility with working hours, which may include on-call duties.
