Job description
Overview
A diversified UAE business group with more than 50 years of experience is hiring an E-Commerce Executive for its Dubai-based operations. The organization operates across FMCG, manufacturing, trading, distribution, real estate, construction, facility management, and interior fit-out services, with a presence across the UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman.
This position is centered on marketplace growth, with a primary focus on Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central. The role involves managing a catalog of over 3,000 SKUs, improving sales performance, and supporting expansion into additional channels such as Noon and Styli.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for driving marketplace sales, improving visibility, optimizing listings, coordinating supply chain activity, managing vendor relationships, and using data to strengthen commercial and operational performance.
- Oversee and fine-tune the company’s e-commerce presence, especially Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central, to support revenue growth and stronger platform performance.
- Take ownership of Amazon account management, including vendor and seller operations, commercial discussions, trade terms, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Track and interpret important KPIs such as revenue, traffic, conversion, Buy Box performance, and customer engagement, then act on the findings.
- Work toward monthly sales goals and broader marketplace targets.
- Build and execute a long-term marketplace growth plan aimed at reaching AED 5M by the end of 2027, from the current AED 1.6M baseline.
- Identify opportunities to expand into other marketplaces like Noon and Styli and manage the onboarding and performance of these channels.
- Use cross-sell, upsell, and bundling approaches to raise average order value.
- Create, improve, and maintain product content, including new ASIN setup, titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend search terms, and A+ content.
- Ensure listings are visually strong, keyword-optimized, and aligned with marketplace standards to support conversions.
- Manage pricing, promotions, rebates, merchandising, and related commercial activity to maintain competitiveness and margin health.
- Handle chargeback-related issues and pricing structures in line with vendor agreements.
- Lead inventory planning, demand forecasting, ordering, replenishment, and stock monitoring to keep availability healthy.
- Coordinate purchase orders, replenishment plans, and stock movement to reduce the risk of out-of-stock situations.
- Maintain accurate inventory synchronization across platforms and work closely with warehouse, logistics, and fulfillment teams for smooth order execution.
- Support service quality, lead times, and fulfillment efficiency through operational discipline.
- Manage wholesale operations where relevant across Vendor Central and other marketplaces.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships with marketplaces such as Amazon, Noon, and Styli, including negotiations and commercial agreements.
- Secure favorable trade terms that support profitability and growth.
- Source, onboard, and manage at least five new brands each year to broaden the portfolio.
- Bring a retail account management approach backed by an understanding of digital marketing and marketplace behavior.
- Oversee marketing investments such as Amazon Marketing Services, promotional campaigns, and visibility initiatives while monitoring return on investment.
- Work with marketing teams on campaign execution, seasonal promotions, and new product launches.
- Protect account health by keeping an eye on order defect rate, late shipment rate, policy compliance, and listing suppression issues.
- Respond to customer inquiries, reviews, and complaints to preserve strong satisfaction levels and seller ratings.
- Prepare weekly updates and detailed monthly reports with insights and recommended actions.
- Use data analysis to improve sales outcomes, marketing efficiency, and day-to-day operations.
- Create scalable workflows, processes, and SOPs that support growth and operational consistency.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with marketplace rules and maintain strong account health metrics.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in e-commerce marketplace management is preferred, especially with Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central.

- Experience in vendor negotiations, trade terms, pricing models, rebates, and chargeback handling is expected.
- A strong analytical approach is necessary to track results and apply improvements.
- Prior responsibility for marketing spend, such as AMS or similar tools, with ROI tracking is required.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and analysis is essential.
- Familiarity with tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar marketplace analytics platforms is preferred.
