Role Overview

The Kids Club Team Leader is responsible for keeping the children’s club running smoothly each day while delivering a safe, enjoyable, and engaging experience for young guests. The role also supports the Rixos Children program and helps maintain high standards of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Kids Club so it runs efficiently and supports excellent guest experience.
• Design fresh, creative, and engaging children’s activities inspired by the local culture and attractions around the hotel.
• Make sure any outside activity providers deliver a good-quality service.
• Build solid knowledge of the hotel’s products and services.
• Lead the application of health and safety standards within children’s activities and ensure children are cared for appropriately at all times.
• Take charge of the Rixos Children program.
• Create a secure, enjoyable, and interactive setting for children using the Kids Club.
• Carry out activities in a courteous, upbeat, and professional way.
• Watch over all children assigned to the Kids Club and ensure they remain within the designated area.
• Provide childcare support, including contacting a parent or guardian when needed for discipline or other concerns, and attending to children’s personal needs.
• Engage children through games and other approved entertainment activities.
• Follow all Kids Club procedures and policies consistently.
• Report any child health concerns to the Recreation Manager so that a health alert can be issued if necessary.
• Handle routine cleaning tasks in the Kids Club, including disinfecting toys.
• Ensure a parent or guardian has completed and signed the Kids Club Agreement/Information Form.
• Confirm that the person checking in the child is listed on the Kids Club Agreement/Information Form.
• Make sure the parent or guardian signs the Kids Club register at both check-in and check-out.
• Maintain a strong and cooperative working relationship with other departments.

Qualifications

This position is intended for someone who has already worked in the same role within a 4-5 star hotel.
