Overview
This opportunity is with a partner company based in Switzerland, which is seeking a Director of Talent & People to lead and expand its HR functions within a fast-growing tech-centric organization. The role emphasizes strategic leadership and practical implementation across talent acquisition, organizational development, and employee relations, helping to foster a high-performing culture in a globally dispersed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, own, and refine the overall Talent and People strategy to ensure the organization has the necessary framework, methods, and talent to support ongoing growth.
- Oversee company-wide workforce planning, recruiting strategies, and operations, striving to enhance hiring quality, efficiency, and predictability.
- Lead and build the recruiting team, creating scalable hiring processes that serve multiple functions and regions effectively.
- Directly contribute to executive and leadership recruitment, optimizing interview procedures, candidate experience, and assessment standards.
- Establish and maintain efficient people operations systems such as onboarding, offboarding, documentation, policies, and employee support mechanisms.
- Enhance the employee experience by clarifying role expectations, reporting lines, and responsibilities throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Collaborate with leadership on organizational design, team structure, workforce planning, and operational enhancements.
- Design and implement programs for performance management, feedback, career progression, and retention to nurture employee growth and engagement.
- Monitor organizational health using people analytics and proactively address talent-related risks.
- Partner strategically with senior executives by providing actionable solutions and establishing infrastructure for sustained organizational growth.
Qualifications and Experience
- Between 5 and 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, HR operations, or similar leadership roles.
- Demonstrable experience supporting organizations with over 100 employees, particularly in fast-growing startups, agencies, or tech companies.
- Track record of leading recruiting teams and managing the entire hiring lifecycle.
- In-depth knowledge of people management within remote-first or globally distributed companies.
- Proven ability to create recruiting systems, onboarding procedures, performance management frameworks, and employee development initiatives.
- Experienced in collaborating with founders, executives, and senior leaders on strategic HR matters.
- Strong organizational judgment, decision-making skills, and adaptability amid evolving priorities.
- A proactive ownership mentality focused on execution, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills capable of influencing stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Ability to thrive in high-velocity environments, particularly in building new systems and processes.
Compensation and Benefits
- The role offers a comprehensive annual compensation package ranging between $40,000 and $90,000 USD, inclusive of base salary, performance bonuses, and equity options.
