Role Overview
The Director of Talent Acquisition at Fontainebleau Miami Beach plays a critical role in executing recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives. This position requires extensive expertise in recruiting practices including requisition evaluation, managing Service Level Agreements, and orchestrating structured interview procedures. The director manages staffing needs and enhances recruitment processes to meet short and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Authorize employment offers and oversee the completion of onboarding processes.
- Foster strong partnerships with internal stakeholders such as Hiring Managers, Department Heads, HR partners, and business leaders to address recruitment challenges and improve processes.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of recruitment professionals, promoting a performance-driven, collaborative culture.
- Guide Human Resources Specialists to achieve recruitment objectives.
- Determine annual contract staffing requirements based on hiring demands.
- Provide recruitment metrics and promote data-driven culture to ensure target achievements and team efficiency, maintaining reports like Weekly Open Position and Aging Reports.
- Support creative sourcing strategies and build a pipeline for Food and Beverage and Culinary positions (Front and Back of House).
- Train Hiring Managers on the iCIMS Applicant Tracking System functionalities.
- Utilize innovative techniques to source diverse candidates.
- Participate in recruiting events such as college fairs and conferences to network and attract talent.
- Apply formal tools and methodologies to enhance talent acquisition policies, procedures, workflows, and project management.
- Manage new hire documentation including offer letters, pre-employment screening, and onboarding follow-ups with new hires and hiring managers.
- Handle internal transfers by preparing offer letters and discussing transfer opportunities with team members.
- Maintain the monthly Visa Report to monitor work authorization compliance, sending reminders at 120, 90, 60, and 30-day intervals before document expiration.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Management.
- Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Bilingual skills are advantageous.
- Certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are a plus.
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, collaboration, presentation, and project management skills.
- Professional demeanor with executive presence and strong business acumen.
- Results-oriented mindset with commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
- Expertise in industry best practices for recruitment.
