Overview
Join Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower in Makkah, managed by Accor, located near the Holy Kaaba in the iconic Clock Tower. This role offers the chance to be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences, especially during key seasons like Hajj, Ramadan, and Umrah. With Accor’s commitment to innovation in hospitality, you will take on a pivotal leadership position within the Reservations Department.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Reservations Department ensuring all bookings are handled flawlessly and align with brand standards.
- Maintain highest standards of reservation accuracy, guest communications, and rapid response times.
- Lead, supervise and develop the reservations team to provide superior service quality.
- Manage room inventory collaboratively with Revenue Management to optimize availability and maximize revenue.
- Ensure accurate reflection of room availability across all booking platforms and monitor restrictions, stop-sell dates, and overbooking carefully.
- Coordinate special room allocations during peak times including Hajj and Ramadan.
- Maintain and manage Opera PMS and Accor reservation systems for data accuracy and smooth operation.
- Collaborate with Distribution, Revenue, Front Office, Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless operations and integrated strategies.
- Support revenue management efforts by monitoring booking trends, preparing detailed reports, and alerting to significant changes in reservation patterns.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate the reservations team while upholding Accor’s brand standards and fostering a guest-centric culture.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, or related fields is required.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in revenue and reservations within a luxury or upper-upscale hotel environment, experience with Accor preferred.
- Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving to convert data into strategic actions.
- Hands-on experience with IDeaS Revenue Management System and Opera PMS preferred.
- Strong knowledge of online distribution channels, OTAs, and dynamic pricing tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Ability to maintain high integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and perform under pressure, especially in busy seasons.
