Role summary

The Manager or Director of Reporting and FP&A will provide financial reporting and analysis to executive leaders and department heads to support strategic decisions. This role also owns the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle and develops corporate financial models that support planning, financing, and growth initiatives. The title will match the selected candidate’s experience level.

What you will do

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting materials for senior leadership and the Board.
  • Analyze department-level results to ensure spending stays aligned with approved budgets.
  • Administer the Planful reporting and budgeting platform, including report design and ongoing maintenance to serve business users.
  • Oversee data flow and reconciliation between Planful and the company ERP system, IFS.
  • Promote the use of AI within FP&A, accounting, and reporting by assessing tools, building workflows, and managing adoption so teams can improve forecast quality and spend more time on higher-value analysis.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process with strong project management, cross-functional coordination, and careful input review for completeness and accuracy.
  • Support refinancing analysis, new debt issuance work, and capital structure optimization through modeling and presentation preparation.
  • Maintain debt covenant compliance models and prepare quarterly and annual compliance certificates alongside accounting.
  • Build, refine, and maintain a multi-year corporate financial model to support strategy, financing, and expansion plans.
  • Review working capital trends across receivables, payables, and accrued liabilities and identify drivers of cash conversion cycle movement.
  • Help prepare corporate presentations for strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate business opportunities through modeling for M&A, expansion, and greenfield projects.
  • Handle ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

What we are looking for

  • Background in preparing and delivering management reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining detailed financial models.
  • Hands-on experience leading budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exposure to Planful, IFS, or comparable reporting and ERP platforms.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to juggle priorities and work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
  • High level of organization and close attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Ability to operate at either Manager or Director level depending on experience.
  • Must have at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • CPA or MBA is preferred.
