Overview

The Director of Product Management for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) plays a crucial leadership role in defining and implementing the product roadmap aligned with strategic objectives and customer requirements in the dynamic healthcare industry. This position drives collaboration across teams and addresses obstacles to deliver innovative solutions that improve care and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and leadership to enact product strategies that align with company and market needs.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance patient outcomes, increase customer retention, and support profitability.
  • Work cross-functionally with CareCentrix departments to pinpoint integration possibilities, exchange insights, and develop product enhancements.
  • Clearly articulate value propositions and build strong business cases to back strategic projects.
  • Integrate customer feedback into ongoing product improvements.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Oversee client implementations and guide comprehensive product strategies to boost growth and retention.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaborations to promote innovation and operational efficiency across the product lifecycle.
  • Lead JOC client engagements with responsibility for contract strategies, profit and loss oversight, return on investment evaluations, and managing impactful initiatives.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle including upgrades, resolving issues, and escalating risks as required.
  • Ensure product quality and regulatory compliance throughout all markets and services.
  • Partner internally to support initiatives fostering accountability, continuous progress, and performance improvement.
  • Work alongside leadership to meet performance metrics for network providers covering clinical quality and operational standards.
  • Assume additional strategic duties as required to support organizational goals.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of seven years in healthcare, including over three years in project management roles.
  • Expertise specifically in Durable Medical Equipment.
  • Proficient with Salesforce, Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), and Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated strategic and operational leadership skills, capable of managing change and complex projects efficiently.
  • Financial literacy including analyzing P&L statements and aligning strategies to measurable business results.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in coaching and influencing stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation expertise.
  • Creative problem-solving mindset, able to navigate ambiguity and devise effective solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $150,000 to $170,000 annually plus a corporate bonus incentive plan.
