Director of Information Security GRC

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Director of Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to lead and evolve the global cybersecurity strategy of a premier luxury retail and distribution firm in Dubai. This role offers a unique chance to establish and enhance a comprehensive Information Security GRC program impacting operations across numerous countries and renowned premium brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Head the enterprise-wide Information Security GRC function, collaborating closely with Executive Leadership, Legal, Internal Audit, Procurement, HR, and Technology departments.
• Drive cyber resilience initiatives and integrate security best practices within a complex international business environment.
• Provide strategic leadership and influence decisions at the executive and board levels.
• Champion transformation programs that strengthen Governance, Risk, and Compliance posture globally.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience establishing or significantly advancing enterprise Information Security GRC frameworks within large multinational or global organizations.
• Successful leadership of cross-border Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives.
• Exceptional executive presence, with a history of engaging and influencing C-Level executives and Board members.
• In-depth expertise in Information Security Governance and Enterprise Risk management.
• Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, Enterprise Risk Frameworks, Security Governance, Regulatory Compliance, Internal and External Audits, and Third-Party Risk Management.
