Director of Facilities

Role Overview

This leadership position focuses on transforming Technical Services within Facilities Management across Ireland by leveraging innovation, digital technologies, and operational excellence. The Director will partner closely with operational teams to enhance engineering standards, compliance, digital tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Technical Services, Projects, and Digital strategies throughout Ireland.
• Promote best practices in Hard FM, statutory compliance, engineering governance, and asset management.
• Lead digital transformation efforts, including adoption of CAFM/CMMS platforms, data analytics, and new technologies.
• Create and enforce technical standards, governance frameworks, and consistency measures.
• Provide technical input for major bids, project mobilisations, and solution design.
• Establish trusted partnerships with clients and operational leaders as a technical advisor.
• Manage and inspire a team of technical experts fostering innovation and continuous progression.
• Support sustainability initiatives such as ESG policies and Net Zero goals.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated senior leadership experience within Technical Services or Integrated Facilities Management.
• Comprehensive understanding of Hard FM, engineering compliance, and technical governance requirements.
• Proven experience in deploying FM systems, digital tools, and reporting frameworks.
• Successful track record in driving operational improvements and leading business transformation efforts.
• Commercially astute with experience in business growth, bids, and project mobilisations.
• Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, adept at influencing senior-level decision-makers.

Additional Information

• Location: Remote within Ireland.
• Compensation: Up to €100,000 annually, plus car allowance, bonus, and excellent benefits.
