Overview
We are executing a confidential executive recruitment for the role of Vice President Procurement and Supply Chain within a dynamic global organization headquartered in Southern Germany. This vital group-level leadership position reports directly to the CEO and entails control over a large-scale international procurement and supply chain function spanning EMEA, AMER, and APAC regions. The organization is amid considerable transformation and expansion internationally, looking for a seasoned executive experienced in wholesale, trading, or B2B distribution environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee global supply chain management and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Lead procurement activities including strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Manage logistics operations along with customs and trade compliance.
- Drive operational excellence and lead process transformation efforts.
- Champion supply chain digitization projects.
- Ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and product compliance governance.
- Provide international leadership across diverse multi-regional teams.
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership in international wholesale or distribution sectors.
- Experience managing complex global supply chains and procurement transformations.
- Strong strategic thinker with a pragmatic and execution-focused leadership style.
- History of leading large, multi-country procurement and supply chain operations.
- Able to drive change and transformation initiatives in fast-paced environments.
- Fluency in German and English mandatory.
- Capable stakeholder management and strong international leadership skills.
- Comfortable working in rapidly evolving international contexts with approximately 50% travel.
Additional Information
- Hybrid working arrangement with approximately three days onsite in Southern Germany.

- Executive compensation package up to around €195,000 annually plus company car and other benefits.
