This opportunity is on behalf of a partner organization seeking a Director of Demand Generation based in Canada. The role involves spearheading a strategic demand generation plan that fuels pipeline expansion and business growth.
You will be accountable for designing scalable marketing initiatives that bridge product-led growth and enterprise sales, integrating brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue objectives.
Collaboration with multiple departments will be vital to craft campaigns, refine conversion strategies, and establish a demand engine tailored for technical customer segments.

Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and oversee demand generation strategies using paid media, email, webinars, sponsorships, account-based marketing (ABX), and other mediums.
- Create and scale account-based marketing targeting prioritized industries and valuable customer groups alongside sales teams.
- Lead and mentor a skilled demand generation team, managing relationships with agencies and contractors.
- Manage pipeline objectives, forecasting, channel analytics, budget deployment, and strategies to optimize conversion rates.
- Collaborate with product marketing, content, web, communications, and sales development leaders to synchronize campaigns and enhance lead conversion.
- Design AI-driven workflow automations to elevate campaign execution, personalization, reporting, and team productivity.
- Track evolving trends in AI-influenced search and discovery to integrate them into demand generation tactics.
- Oversee and adjust the demand generation budget ensuring measurable business returns.
- Evaluate campaign performance data and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Continuously refine procedures, systems, and frameworks to enable sustainable scaling.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 10 years’ experience in B2B SaaS demand generation, growth marketing, or related leadership roles.
- Minimum 3 years managing and developing marketing teams.
- Proven success facilitating both product-led growth and enterprise market strategies.
- Expertise marketing to technically proficient audiences and engaging complex buyers.
- Demonstrated capability to build demand generation initiatives from strategy through execution and measurement.
- Experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance marketing workflows, automation, campaign creation, and analytical reporting.
- Familiarity with tools like Marketo, Salesforce, Qualified, Clay, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making and communication of insights to sales and executives.
- High ownership mentality, identifying opportunities, devising solutions, and executing independently without standard templates.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Preferred background in open-source solutions, AI search/GEO/AEO, observability, IoT, infrastructure, or data technology sectors.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range: U.S. Zone 1 estimated base between $165,000 to $200,000 plus equity, bonuses, and benefits.
- U.S. Zone 2 estimated base salary of $150,000 to $185,000 plus equity, bonuses, and benefits.
