About Fieldguide
Fieldguide is pioneering a new standard of trust in global commerce and capital markets by automating and simplifying the workflows of assurance and audit professionals, especially in cybersecurity, privacy, and financial auditing. Our software empowers those who foster trust between businesses.
Though headquartered in San Francisco, Fieldguide operates as a remote-first company supporting talent worldwide. Our investors include prominent groups such as Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, Floodgate, Y Combinator, and others.
We embrace diversity across backgrounds and experiences. Our team values inclusivity, commitment, humility, and mutual support. We aim to cultivate a workplace where everyone contributes to each other's growth alongside advancing their own strengths.
At this early stage, you will have the chance to influence the future of business trust by significantly improving audit professionals' efficiency and work-life balance.
Role Overview
We seek a strategic, execution-driven Director for Go-To-Market operations in the APAC region. This role is accountable for revenue growth, customer success, operational delivery, and team development within APAC's audit and advisory sectors.
You will orchestrate the entire go-to-market spectrum including sales, customer success, service, and support functions. Working in close partnership with the US executive leadership, you will steer Fieldguide’s international expansion while fortifying scalable regional operations.
The focus begins with Australia and New Zealand, with plans for branching into Japan, Korea, and Singapore. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this remote role is based in Australia.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage overall regional business results in APAC, covering revenue targets, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Lead and expand the region's go-to-market organization spanning sales, success, support, and service teams.
- Own the regional revenue goals; collaborate with Account Executives and GTM leaders to develop pipelines and close major deals.
- Engage directly with customers and partners to ensure successful project delivery and sustained satisfaction.
- Design and implement hiring strategies aligned with growth and client needs.
- Align regional operations with company-wide strategies, processes, and frameworks alongside executive leadership.
- Identify and address operational deficiencies with scalable solutions supporting business maturation.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on regional infrastructure needs for services, support, and customer operations.
- Participate actively in strategic accounts, complex negotiations, and customer dialogues.
- Forge strong partnerships with key audit and advisory players within the APAC ecosystem.
Initial 6–12 Month Goals
- Roll out and optimize the APAC GTM approach, focusing initially on Australia and New Zealand.
- Scale up the customer-facing teams in the region effectively.
- Drive significant revenue growth throughout APAC.
- Deepen key customer and partner relationships strategically.
- Pinpoint and bridge operational gaps supporting expansion.
- Lay the groundwork for long-term development including extension into Japan, Korea, and Singapore.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in enterprise SaaS, audit technology, financial services tech, or related domains.
- Demonstrated leadership in APAC revenue or GTM roles, particularly in Australia.
- Strong familiarity with audit, accounting, advisory, or compliance landscapes.
- Expertise in managing regional quotas, revenue forecasting, and go-to-market execution.
- Proven success in building and leading high-performing customer-centric teams within rapidly scaling settings.
- Experience overseeing cross-functional teams including sales, success, service, and support.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and develop regional infrastructure from scratch.
- Executive presence with skill to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset suited for working with multinational teams and across time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience engaging with major firms such as BDO, KPMG, Grant Thornton, Deloitte, or Accenture within Australia/New Zealand or the broader APAC area.
- Background in fast-paced or startup businesses with a track record of operational effectiveness.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is between AUD 170,000 and AUD 215,000 annually.
