This team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making and uphold financial integrity. By concentrating on controls, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement, the team ensures Klick’s responsible and sustainable growth.
About the Role
The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be responsible for enhancing and developing Klick’s financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business insight capabilities. This is a hands-on leadership position for an individual passionate about data analysis, financial modeling, generating insightful analysis, and translating findings into practical business recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strategic acumen combined with a proactive approach, working closely with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to elevate decision-making, improve visibility, and optimize financial performance.
What You’ll Own
- Executive & Management Reporting: Lead the creation of monthly management reporting packages, executive dashboards, and performance reviews to guide senior leadership decisions. This involves detailed variance analysis, trend commentary, and ensuring reports convey a clear narrative beyond just presenting data.
- Planning & Forecasting: Develop and maintain sophisticated budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow models to provide the business with forward-looking financial insights. Continuously improve forecast accuracy by identifying the drivers behind deviations from the plan.
- Business Analysis & Insights: Move beyond standard reporting to uncover the underlying implications of financial and operational data, identifying potential risks, opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations. Present findings and insights clearly and concisely to business leaders.
- Reporting Infrastructure & Automation: Design efficient and scalable reporting frameworks and automate routine workflows using tools such as Excel, Business Intelligence platforms, and AI-driven solutions, aiming to shift focus from data compilation to insight generation.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, with direct responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial modeling within complex organizations. This includes experience with executive reporting, annual planning cycles, and business performance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to construct complex financial models independently, rigorously defend all assumptions, and develop scenario comparisons to support decision-making.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex financial and operational data into clear, business-oriented narratives and actionable recommendations for senior executives, with a comfort level in defending analytical conclusions.
- Demonstrated success in enhancing reporting processes through automation or the implementation of AI-enabled tools.
- Experience within a professional services industry, with a solid understanding of revenue and cost models based on people resources.
Desired Qualifications
- Enthusiasm and demonstrated comfort in utilizing AI as an integral part of daily work processes.
- Possession of a CPA designation or a comparable professional accounting qualification.
- Experience in leading, mentoring, or developing finance professionals while remaining actively involved in analytical and operational tasks.
- Experience contributing to financial system implementations, reporting transformations, or significant process improvement initiatives.
- Experience in developing and presenting executive-level reporting materials to senior leadership and key business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
