Role Overview
Zensar Technologies in Pune is hiring enthusiastic finance freshers for its FP&A team. This position is intended to support planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis work that helps the business make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with budgeting and forecast preparation cycles.
- Help build monthly MIS reports and dashboards.
- Analyze gaps between actual results and budget or forecast numbers.
- Support finance reporting and review of business data.
- Monitor key business metrics and performance indicators.
- Contribute to financial modeling and planning tasks.
- Work closely with business and finance teams as needed.
- Maintain accuracy in data handling and ensure reports are delivered on time.
- Assist with ad hoc analysis and management-level presentations.
Skills and Competencies
- Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Strong numerical reasoning and analytical ability.
- Hands-on comfort with MS Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
- Familiarity with PowerPoint and data presentation.
- Sharp attention to detail and a problem-solving approach.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
Preferred Exposure
- Prior experience or exposure to MIS reporting and financial modeling is an advantage.
- Basic familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is useful.
- Finance or analytics internship experience is optional but preferred.
