Job description

About the Company

Beast Industries is a diversified media and entertainment business built by Jimmy Donaldson, widely recognized as MrBeast. What began as a groundbreaking digital content brand has expanded into multiple areas, including media, philanthropy, consumer products, and new business ventures. The company’s purpose is to entertain, inspire, and create meaningful social impact through creativity, innovation, and a forward-looking approach to storytelling.

Role Overview

Beast Industries is seeking a senior communications leader to shape how the company is represented in real time across public conversations. As Director, Corporate Communications & Social Reputation, you will own the strategy, systems, and governance that guide the company’s corporate reputation across social channels, executive platforms, and emerging public spaces.

Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer, you will advise the CEO, Founder, and executive team on reputation, visibility, and communications strategy. This position blends corporate communications, executive positioning, social reputation, and issues management, with a focus on converting moments of attention into opportunities to strengthen brand trust and affinity.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a communications professional known for sharp judgment, platform expertise, executive presence, and strategic thinking. You will help define how one of the world’s most recognized creator-led companies engages audiences, protects its reputation, and participates in culture at scale.

Core Outcomes Over 12–18 Months

  • Improve reputation metrics, brand sentiment, trust, and audience engagement across priority public channels.
  • Position Beast Industries as a leading example of modern corporate communications and social reputation management.
  • Expand executive visibility and thought leadership on LinkedIn, X, and other new channels.
  • Create a repeatable reputation framework covering monitoring, risk identification, response handling, governance, and measurement.
  • Increase readiness for major issues, emerging narratives, and reputation-sensitive events.
  • Build the communications capabilities, processes, and talent needed to support the company’s long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and direct the company’s external communications and social reputation strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Founder, and senior leaders on reputation, executive visibility, messaging, and public engagement.
  • Shape the company’s public voice, engagement approach, and governance standards across major social platforms.
  • Develop editorial plans that support reputation building, thought leadership, corporate storytelling, and trust.
  • Create communications frameworks, escalation routes, and decision rules for emerging issues and high-visibility situations.
  • Lead rapid, strategic responses to reputation-sensitive matters while balancing speed, transparency, business goals, and brand values.
  • Build advanced social listening, sentiment tracking, and early-warning systems to spot risks and opportunities before they escalate.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Content, Legal, HR, and executive stakeholders to keep communications aligned.
  • Identify and prepare internal experts, executives, and spokespersons who can strengthen the company’s external presence.
  • Oversee external agencies and other communications partners as required.
  • Provide executive-level reports, insights, and recommendations on reputation health, audience sentiment, and communications impact.
  • Coach communications team members and help shape the future structure and capabilities of the function.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in corporate communications, external communications, reputation management, social strategy, or a related field.
  • A strong record of building and leading communications strategies for highly visible brands, public figures, or fast-scaling organizations.
  • Deep expertise in social reputation, executive communications, and public engagement.
  • Substantial experience handling complex, high-profile issues, crises, or other reputation-sensitive situations.
  • Proven ability to advise senior leaders, founders, or public-facing executives.
  • Experience creating scalable communications frameworks, governance structures, and operational processes.
  • Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at every level.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional work and aligning varied stakeholders around communications goals.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in entertainment, creator economy, consumer brands, media, gaming, or fast-growing technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of X, LinkedIn, and emerging online communities.
  • Experience with social listening tools, sentiment analysis, and reputation intelligence platforms.
  • Exposure to managing communications agencies and outside partners.
  • Familiarity with thought leadership, executive positioning, and employer brand initiatives.

What Success Looks Like

  • Beast Industries is seen as trustworthy, authentic, and strong across key public channels.
  • Executive visibility and thought leadership efforts support credibility and business goals.
  • Reputation risks are detected early and handled effectively through established processes.
  • Communications efforts consistently create positive engagement and strengthen brand trust.
  • Leadership teams rely on communications as a strategic partner and advisor.
  • Communications systems, governance, and talent scale smoothly as the company grows.
