About the company
Transformer Table, headquartered in Montreal and operating from Dorval, designs and manufactures innovative SMART furniture built for modern, space-conscious living. The company focuses on original designs, creativity, and practical solutions that help transform homes while supporting a collaborative team culture.
Role overview
This executive marketing leadership role is responsible for steering the company’s global brand direction and driving growth across digital, retail, and international channels. The position combines brand leadership, performance marketing, customer lifecycle optimization, team management, and cross-functional alignment to support ambitious revenue and market expansion goals.
Executive brand strategy
- Develop and continuously refine the worldwide brand identity, positioning, and messaging so the brand remains consistent across direct-to-consumer channels, retail partnerships, and international markets.
- Build and deliver a unified marketing approach that connects online DTC growth with the expansion of physical retail presence such as Costco and showrooms.
- Manage the global marketing budget and direct investment toward paid acquisition, awareness initiatives, influencer programs, and experiential marketing to improve CAC efficiency and customer lifetime value.
Growth and digital marketing
- Lead high-growth paid media programs across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest to scale acquisition while protecting performance efficiency.
- Guide content strategies that build on the brand’s viral video strength, increase organic engagement, support social commerce, and widen brand reach.
- Create strong attribution and marketing analytics frameworks to monitor campaign results, customer behavior, and market movements, then translate those insights into product and marketing actions.
Customer journey and retention
- Oversee email, SMS, and loyalty initiatives that move prospective buyers through a high-consideration furniture purchasing process and encourage repeat business and advocacy.
- Work with web development and product teams to improve the online storefront so the site clearly communicates the value of modular furniture and drives conversion.
Team leadership and cross-functional collaboration
- Lead, coach, and scale an agile internal marketing team covering creative, copy, performance media, PR, and SEO, while also managing external agencies.
- Partner closely with product development, supply chain, and sales teams to align inventory forecasts, promotional planning, and new product launches.
- Oversee premium influencer, celebrity, and affiliate partnerships, along with strong PR programs that keep the brand visible in design and lifestyle media.
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings strong market planning and research capabilities, a solid background in marketing management and sales, and prior public relations experience. This role also calls for confident leadership, sound judgment, organizational strength, and a creative, innovative mindset. Experience in furniture or interior design is considered an asset. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is required, and an MBA is a plus.
Compensation and benefits
- Executive-level compensation package with a highly competitive base salary and performance-based bonuses tied to growth results.
- A large monthly marketing budget in the multi-million-dollar range, allowing significant room to test and scale global campaigns.
- Comprehensive health coverage, including medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees and their families.
- Premium technology and hardware provided and tailored to the leader’s preferences.
- Free Friday lunches as a weekly team perk.
- Generous employee pricing across the company’s modular furniture collection.
