Role Overview
The Deputy Manager - Sales HR acts as a strategic HR business partner to the sales department, fostering a values-based culture and facilitating the execution of core HR functions to promote a high-performance environment. This role focuses on capability development, employee engagement, manpower planning, recruitment, and HR administration to support sales operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee vital people processes including performance management, ensuring objective setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals, and focal point discussions align with organizational priorities.
- Manage and promote employee surveys such as Management Connect, Organization Health, and PMP surveys, ensuring participation, data accuracy, and actionable feedback.
- Assist managers with capacity development action plans, regional people planning, and facilitate talent movement within the organization.
- Handle comprehensive recruitment activities across various sales channels up to the level of Area Sales Manager, including manpower planning, onboarding, and induction, while advancing diversity hiring.
- Conduct structured exit interviews and utilize feedback to improve HR processes.
- Champion employee engagement by fostering strong frontline relationships, managing rewards and recognition programs, and driving regional engagement initiatives with effective communication.
- Lead capability-building efforts aligned with the 70:20:10 development model, support performance improvement plans, and oversee change management initiatives within sales functions.
- Produce and maintain HR analytics, reports, and dashboards; manage third-party resources and address related administrative functions including travel and grievance handling.
Required Skills and Attributes
