Job Purpose

The role focuses on fostering a strong rapport with the sales team to cultivate a values-driven culture. It entails efficient management and execution of HR processes tailored for the sales division to sustain a positive work environment, enhance capability development based on organizational priorities, and promote a performance-driven culture. Additionally, the role entails managing headcount, employee-related expenses, recruitment aligned to regional sales goals, analyzing HR data for actionable insights, and providing comprehensive HR support to the sales function.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth implementation of critical HR functions such as performance management with SMART objectives, regular reviews, appraisals, calibration, and feedback cycles for the sales team.
• Drive participation and follow-up for engagement and organizational health surveys, facilitating data-driven actions with management.
• Support people planning and development by coaching and implementing competency development action plans (CDAPs) aligned with business strategy.
• Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for various sales channels up to Level 5 positions, maintain headcount as per annual operational plans, ensure minimal disruption from attrition, and promote workforce diversity.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for continuous process improvement.
• Champion employee engagement initiatives including reward and recognition programs, events, contests, and two-way communications to connect with frontline employees effectively.
• Communicate organizational values and code of conduct consistently, ensuring frontline adherence and serving as a role model.
• Collaborate with business managers and HR teams to facilitate employee capability building using blended learning approaches and performance improvement plans.
• Oversee HR-related administration, reports, and MIS to support sales operations and timely data submission to headquarters.
• Manage third-party resources and handle processes including travel and expense, payroll, imprest funds, and grievance resolution within the region.

Additional Information

This position reports functionally to the General Manager of HR and administratively to the Head of Sales. The role is based onsite in Ahmedabad, India, and involves working closely with regional sales managers and teams to deliver HR solutions fostering growth and engagement aligned with company goals.
