Delivery Recruitment Consultant - US Construction Sector (Remote, South Africa)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Recruitment Consultant based in South Africa to join a rapidly expanding UK construction recruitment firm servicing the US market. This position focuses solely on recruitment delivery and candidate management within the US construction sector without involving business development tasks. The role supports high-volume placements on the US West Coast and offers a clear career path towards senior or management positions, working fully remotely.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist senior consultants and directors in managing recruitment processes for the US construction industry.
• Conduct market research and mapping to identify potential candidates and client companies.
• Source and engage candidates through multiple channels including calls, LinkedIn, job boards, and networking.
• Evaluate CVs and assess candidate suitability for active job openings.
• Maintain comprehensive candidate pipelines and coordinate interview scheduling.
• Guide candidates through recruitment stages ensuring a professional experience.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with candidates within the US construction market.
• Keep recruitment and CRM records updated accurately.
• Work collaboratively with teams to meet activity and performance objectives.

Experience and Qualifications

• At least 18 months’ recruitment experience, ideally within US or UK construction markets.
• Mandatory experience in permanent recruitment within UK/US.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, target-oriented environments.
• Experience in construction, civil engineering, white-collar construction recruitment, or technical/professional services recruitment is a plus.

Working Hours and Location

• Fully remote role based in South Africa.
• Working hours aligned with US West Coast: 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM (Nov-Mar) and 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM (Mar-Oct).
