Role Overview
The Education Recruitment Delivery Consultant plays a pivotal role in sourcing, engaging, evaluating, and placing top-tier education professionals within UK schools. Collaborating closely with UK-based consultants and hiring managers, the incumbent will manage the recruitment lifecycle from initial candidate outreach to final placement, ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout.
Primary Responsibilities
- Employ diverse sourcing strategies including job boards, networking platforms, databases, referrals, and headhunting to identify qualified education professionals.
- Conduct thorough competency-based telephone and video interviews to evaluate candidate fit.
- Develop and sustain a robust pipeline of candidates covering roles such as teachers, teaching assistants, SEN personnel, and cover supervisors.
- Match candidates to appropriate vacancies considering their skills, experience, availability, and location.
- Provide detailed candidate profiles and recommendations to the UK recruitment team.
- Proactively cultivate talent pools for future demand and market needs.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with candidates, offering career guidance, interview preparation, and market insights.
- Manage candidate expectations relating to availability, remuneration, and recruitment timelines.
- Simultaneously handle multiple vacancies and pipelines while adhering to agreed performance indicators.
- Keep CRM and ATS platforms updated with precise recruitment and candidate data.
- Facilitate interview coordination and collaborate with compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding processes.
- Foster strong partnerships with UK consultants and teams, sharing market intelligence and feedback.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment procedures and sourcing methods.
Success Metrics
- Establish and maintain a substantial pipeline of qualified education professionals.
- Consistently provide high-quality shortlisted candidates within defined service level agreements.
- Meet or exceed individual recruitment KPIs and placement targets.
- Ensure strong candidate satisfaction and engagement throughout recruitment.
- Build reliable and trusted relationships with UK consultants through consistent communication and quality deliverables.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate information.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 1 and 3 years of recruitment experience, ideally focused on the UK market.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient in candidate sourcing using LinkedIn, various job boards, databases, and headhunting techniques.
- Strong telephone communication and relationship development abilities.
- Highly organized with capacity to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
- Self-driven with the ability to operate independently in a remote work setting.
- Detail-oriented with excellent administrative competencies.
- Experienced using CRM/ATS and productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience recruiting within the UK education sector.
- Experience recruiting teachers, teaching assistants, SEN staff, or related education roles.
- Familiarity with UK education recruitment processes and sector knowledge.
- Previous engagement with UK-based clients and candidates.
