Role Summary
In this role, you will support STEM education by helping professors use JoVE effectively in their teaching. The position is centered on improving student learning experiences, increasing classroom adoption, and protecting subscription renewals by demonstrating clear value and measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Reach out proactively to professors at subscribing universities and show how JoVE contributes to better teaching and learning results.
- Promote wider use of JoVE in courses and classrooms to strengthen engagement and encourage subscription retention.
- Develop and nurture relationships with important stakeholders such as department heads, professors, principal investigators, and librarians through regular phone calls, emails, one-on-one meetings, and customized institutional initiatives.
- Present products and host webinars at conferences, seminars held by universities or research centers, and workshops to drive higher usage of JoVE.
- Continue supporting professors with guidance so they can make the most effective use of JoVE in their teaching.
Requirements
- A master’s degree or PhD in a STEM field is required.
- Excellent communication and presentation ability in both English and German is needed, along with the confidence to persuade and motivate others.
- Prior experience in science communication, academic outreach, or another client-facing role is preferred.
- You should be comfortable analyzing adoption metrics and usage data.
- Experience managing several projects and stakeholders at the same time is important.
- The ideal candidate works independently, stays results-focused, and performs well in a fast-moving environment.
