Customer Delivery Driver - Leeds Seacroft Extra

Overview

Join Tesco as a Customer Delivery Driver, where you will be the friendly face representing us on the road. This role combines driving with hands-on, physical duties and involves meeting customers at their homes to deliver quality service with a positive attitude. Each day brings new challenges and tasks, providing a varied work environment.

Working Hours

• Monday to Wednesday: 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM
• Saturday: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of your van, trays, and work area to ensure customers receive their orders in excellent condition.
• Load the delivery van safely and carry out all necessary checks to guarantee the vehicle’s reliability and roadworthiness.
• Communicate kindly and clearly with customers about any substitutions, changes, or short-dated products, and facilitate refunds when needed to maintain a smooth delivery experience.
• Handle products carefully, treating each order with care to uphold product quality and customer trust.
• Deliver orders during the allotted time window, offering warm and personal service at customers' doorsteps to make them feel valued and well cared for.

Requirements

• Foster strong relationships with colleagues to build a supportive team atmosphere and enhance customer service.
• Be friendly and warm with both customers and team members.
• Adapt quickly to evolving customer needs and embrace change while working on the road and within the store environment.
• Possess a valid UK, EU, or EEA driving license (full or automatic) held for at least 12 months, with no more than three penalty points.
