Job Overview
This part-time onsite role in Hohenfels, Bavaria involves maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of assigned facilities. The position requires effective use of powered cleaning equipment and knowledge of cleaning solvents and methods.
Primary Duties
- Clean various areas including rooms, corridors, stairways by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, stripping, and polishing floors using light and heavy-duty equipment.
- Operate industrial machinery specifically designed for cleaning rugs and drapes.
- Perform routine upkeep of cleaning equipment and disinfect and deodorize toilet facilities.
- Empty trash receptacles, dust surfaces, and maintain cleanliness in assigned zones.
- Wash walls, windows, blinds, and ceiling fixtures safely using ladders, scaffolds, and safety belts.
- Relocate heavy furniture as needed and manage supplies inventory for cleaning tasks.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Applicants must possess the ability to follow oral and written instructions and read signage.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning tools, solvents, and the proper use of sanitizing and stain removal solutions.
- Capable of troubleshooting and performing minor repairs on cleaning equipment.
- Must present a Social Security Card and have direct deposit details ready.
- Candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- No formal education qualifications are required for this position.
- Applicants should reside within 100 km of Hohenfels to be considered locally commuting.
- A probationary period of one year may apply.
