Role Overview

The Handyman will take on a vital, full-time position at the onsite location in Bethlehem, GA, carrying out daily repair and maintenance duties across company-managed properties. Key areas of responsibility include basic plumbing, electrical fixes, carpentry work, painting, and handling general property upkeep. The role extends to inspecting buildings for issues, completing assigned repair orders, and addressing tenant requests efficiently.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct property assessments to identify routine and urgent repair needs
• Carry out basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs as required
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and manage small renovations or upgrades
• Manage minor appliance repairs and ensure exterior areas are well-kept
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with property managers and the rest of the maintenance team to coordinate repairs
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe, usable condition
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards throughout all properties

Required Qualifications

• Proficient general maintenance abilities, including experience in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical work
• Experience with day-to-day property repairs, building upkeep, and small-scale renovation projects
• Skilled in diagnosing problems, prioritizing work orders, and delivering solutions independently
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for collaborating with both tenants and internal teams
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining safety and cleanliness
• Physical capability to lift materials and utilize a variety of hand and power tools safely, both inside and outdoors
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation within Bethlehem, GA
• Previous experience in building maintenance or construction is preferred; relevant certifications are advantageous
