Role Overview

This night shift End-of-Line (EOL) Inspector is responsible for verifying that window and door products meet established quality standards before they are shipped from the facility. As the final checkpoint, the role involves rigorous checks against company criteria and real-time communication to ensure only compliant products reach customers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough final product inspections using standard inspection tools, gauges, and prescribed visual assessment criteria (including a comprehensive 14-point checklist and Critical-to-Quality features).
  • Review products from multiple angles and setups with appropriate lighting conditions (V-rack, 160+ FtC backlighting) to detect discrepancies.
  • Mark approved items with a personal inspector ID stamp to maintain traceability.
  • Log inspection results accurately in digital or paper records.
  • Classify and immediately relay information about defects—categorized as minor, major, or critical—to operations for fast action.
  • Prevent any non-conforming products from moving forward in the process.
  • Strictly follow corporate quality and inspection protocols.
  • Participate in required calibration training sessions and annual certifications.
  • Respond promptly to customer audit requests and support issue resolution.
  • Work closely with production, material, maintenance, and quality teams to relay defects and systemic challenges for operational improvements.
  • Engage in rotational inspector scheduling as mandated by site needs.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • At least three months' prior experience in production or as a quality technician at the company.
  • Successful completion of both written and hands-on exams covering all inspection criteria, tools, and documentation standards.
  • Documented ability to make final independent quality decisions.
  • Excellent visual skills and comfortable working in high-intensity lighting environments.
  • No attendance or disciplinary issues within the past two months, with a record of strong performance and dependability.
  • Written references from both immediate supervisor and the quality manager.
  • Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to standard procedures without deviations.
  • Willingness to pursue ongoing training and work across various rotational assignments.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Night shift: Sunday to Thursday, 6pm - 6am.
