About the Role
As a member of the Trust & Safety team, you will tackle significant challenges to uphold the safety and integrity of Google's diverse products such as Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. This role involves strategic thinking and teamwork, working globally with cross-functional teams including engineers and product managers to promptly detect and address abuse and fraud cases. Your efforts directly contribute to fostering user trust and ensuring their safety across Google's platforms.
The specialized Violent Extremism (VE) cross-product enforcement team focuses on protecting users by mastering the complex global regulatory landscape and crafting strong enforcement strategies against violent extremist content. In this position, you will become an expert in this abuse domain, forming robust collaborations with engineering, product, legal, and service delivery teams. You will apply systematic data analysis and implement scalable solutions to handle intricate cases and uphold a safe and positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and enforce review strategies aligned with global VE policy guidelines.
- Acquire in-depth policy knowledge and product expertise to formulate and refine core enforcement operations continuously.
- Lead cross-stakeholder projects aimed at enhancing abuse detection mechanisms and reducing user harm.
- Collaborate extensively with Trust & Safety, Product, Engineering, Policy, and Legal teams to achieve enforcement objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 4 years experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy formulation, or related domains.
- Proficiency in SQL, dashboard creation, data transformation, data visualization, or scripting/programming languages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- At least 2 years experience in Trust and Safety, product policy, compliance, privacy and security, legal, risk management, intelligence, or content moderation.
- Strong strategic thinking abilities to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with the capacity to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude with meticulous attention to detail in dynamic environments.
Additional Information
Individual compensation is based on factors including skills, prior experience, and relevant education or training.
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary range: €84,000 - €86,000 per year plus 15% target bonus, equity, and benefits.
