Role Responsibilities
- Provide expert travel advice and coordinate travel arrangements for corporate clients, both individuals and groups.
- Conduct detailed research and analysis of travel options, anticipating client needs to recommend and upsell supplementary services.
- Book and manage complex domestic and international business travel, covering air, road, rail, and lodging.
- Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre to process bookings.
- Ensure travel bookings comply with client travel policies, service provider regulations, and legal requirements.
- Employ excellent telephone service techniques and handle special customer requests professionally.
- Collaborate with teammates to mentor, coach, and deliver constructive feedback aimed at enhancing service quality.
Candidate Profile
- Commitment to exceptional client service with a proactive approach to meeting traveler needs.
- Expertise in native GDS systems, preferably Sabre, but Amadeus or Galileo is also acceptable.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail in all tasks.
- Demonstrates integrity while handling sensitive traveler information.
- Good knowledge of the travel industry, including experience in business or leisure travel, or airline reservations.
- Experience managing after-hours support for US, UK, and Canada clients is a valuable asset.
- Capable of independently resolving client issues, including coordination with suppliers.
- Works well within a team and is receptive to feedback for continuous improvement.
Working Hours and Location
This role involves a four-day workweek with 10-hour shifts scheduled between 8 AM and 8 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time. Workdays may include weekdays, weekends, and public holidays, with associated shift penalties applicable. The position is based in New South Wales, Australia, and offered as a remote opportunity.
