Role Overview
This on-site position involves being the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and professional front-of-house experience. The role includes responsibilities in reception duties, office coordination, and managing meeting room hospitality, contributing to the efficient daily operation of the office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a professional and inviting reception experience to all visitors and clients.
- Maintain the reception area to reflect high corporate presentation standards consistently.
- Coordinate meeting room preparation, including catering arrangements and post-use tidying.
- Manage visitor sign-in procedures and access control protocols.
- Handle incoming telephone calls promptly and direct enquiries professionally.
- Organize meeting room bookings to optimize space utilization.
- Collaborate with internal teams, building management, and external vendors.
- Assist with general office tasks such as managing mail, couriers, office supplies, and facility coordination.
- Maintain open and clear communication with various business stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Eligibility to work in Australia without restrictions.
- Completion of High School Certificate or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate reception, front-of-house roles, or hospitality services.
- Excellent customer service skills with a polished and professional demeanor.
- Experience in managing meeting rooms and delivering workplace hospitality.
- Confidence managing high visitor and call volumes in a professional setting.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and Teams.
- Familiarity with visitor management systems and meeting room booking technologies.
- Comfort with using technological tools, including AI applications, to improve efficiency.
